FEMM mission to Poland - press conference - 17.11.

The Chair of the FEMM Committee, Robert BIEDROŃ (S&D, PL), held a press conference on the Backlash against women's rights in Poland, including sexual and reproductive health and rights – findings of FEMM delegation to Poland.
The FEMM mission was led by Predrag Fred MATIĆ(S&D, Croatia) and consisted of Arba KOKALARI (EPP, Sweden), Karen MELCHIOR (Renew, Denmark) and Margarita DE LA PISA CARRIÓN (ECR, Spain). Members looked at the situation of women's rights as well as sexual and reproductive health and rights, also in the context the war in Ukraine and met with representatives of parliament, government and NGOs. The delegation also visited a community centre helping Ukrainian women refugees.
